CCAI Purpose
CCAI strengthens the work of the Western Sydney and Sydney carpools by, encouraging and supporting the growth of a robust network of carpooling commuters.
CCAI works with and for each community, carpooling service that is supported by a responsible Australian Local Council, company or organisation or group of participating organisations.
What CCAI provides
- An Association website www.communitycarpooling.com.au
- An optional service of ongoing administrative, coordination and marketing services to organisations wishing to join which helps maintain and encourage more membership, interest and momentum
Who is Eligible to Join CCAI?
Any registered Australian organisation wishing to establish an online community carpooling service in Australia is eligible to join CCAI. Organisations have been critical to the success of the carpools, by providing essential funding, credibility and validation of members.
CCAI member organisations provide an annual subscription towards the administration of the CCAI and Western Sydney and Sydney Carpools.
CCAI Strategic Direction
Supporting community carpooling, working towards:
- Facilitating collaboration between participating organisations to encourage safe community carpooling
- Building strong, resilient community carpool networks across NSW
- Connecting pro-actively with the other regional carpool schemes
- Demonstrating and practising models of good governance and sustainability.
